Description of Project
The Amtrak Crescent Line train schedule redesign project provided key challenges in the area of information graphic design. After being provided with the original schedule, which was overly complicated, it was important to note and then elevate the most important information. To do so I began by analyzing the original schedule and recomposed it into my new design. My approach was to simplify the design by removing unnecessary information as well as heavily weighted and unnecessary lines. The end result utilized the timeless “Helvetica” Family font and opaque colors for easy readability.
