The Wedding Look Book was created as an elevated visual guide to showcase the romance, refinement, and versatility of weddings at Boston Harbor Hotel. Designed to support the hotel’s wedding sales strategy, the book serves as both an inspirational piece for couples and a functional tool for the events team. The layout emphasizes editorial-style storytelling, allowing photography, texture, and space to narrate the experience of a Boston Harbor wedding with quiet luxury.
Design Principles
A foundation of clarity and intentionality guided the design. Ample white space and balanced margins give each spread room to breathe, allowing the imagery to shine without distraction. A harmonious typographic system pairs elegant serif display elements with clean sans-serif body text, creating a modern yet timeless aesthetic aligned with the hotel’s brand. Consistent typographic hierarchy helps readers move effortlessly through each section while preserving a sense of sophistication.
Color and tone choices were rooted in soft minimalism, using a palette inspired by natural waterfront hues: warm neutrals, soft blues, and subtle shadows, ensuring the content feels cohesive from page to page. Photography was intentionally prioritized, using full-bleed moments, airy compositions, and panoramic views to capture the emotional essence of the spaces.
